Creative moments

After reading the home reading book, "Making a Bird", one of our students was inspired to teach everyone in the class how to make birds. This has sparked an interest in step-by-step art activities, and I am eager to see where this interest takes us.

Miss Lizzy taught us about Mrs. Treble's lines, and we used cars to learn how to identify the lines and spaces on the staff.

We worked together in the snow this week as well. It was perfect snowball snow, so we worked up a sweat rolling huge snowballs to create a snow train for our class. It's amazing to see how well these kids cooperate and pull together to help their peers!

100 Day Fun!

We had a lot of fun celebrating our 100th day of school! It's amazing how much energy these 100 year olds had! Ask your child about the 100th day gym activities we did with Ms. Kinsey's class, and about the goals they would like to reach before they turn 100!

Ski Days!

We had so much fun on both of our ski days, and it was incredible to watch skills improve between the two days on the hill! Thank you so much to everyone who volunteered and helped to make these days such a success!

SNOW Day!

This is what a VERY snowy day looks like in our class...

Whooping it up inside

Digging, tunneling and burying outside

Reading and exploring

Such a fun-filled day!
I hope everyone has a safe snow day tomorrow- schools will be closed.
We hope that roads will be cleared for Wednesday's ski day!
