Garden View Village Egg Hunt!
The Blue group had a very
busy time at Garden View Village today! After having our snack, we were told that
we were having an Easter egg hunt- Wahoo! We did an amazing job of only taking
one bag and one egg each, and even helped our friends find eggs once we were
finished the search. We said a big ‘Thank you’ to the advisors who put the
Easter egg hunt on for us. Once we put our treat bags back in the Golden Room,
we started on a group art project. This project will feature a painted circle
to represent each Kindergarten student and many of our Garden View Village
friends. While we were downstairs tracing circles with our senior friends, we
worked on our greeting skills. We are working hard to remember to say “good
morning” and ask “how are you?” when we greet our friends. We then gave all of
our senior friends a chick that we made last week. Kathy told us that she
overheard our senior friends talking about how much they loved our art and where
they were planning on putting their chick! After saying goodbye to our senior
friends, we went upstairs to work on an egg colouring activity for the
remainder of the time.
