Busy week ahead! (February 23-27)

Next week is feeling very full already, so here's some information/reminders about what is going on:

Tuesday: last swimming day (pack bathing suit, towel)

Wednesday: ski day

What To Pack:
·         Dress your child in warm clothes (thick socks, waterproof gloves, hat, jacket and snowpants)
·        A labelled water bottle
·         A full, nutritious lunch in a lunch bag
·         A snack in your child’s jacket pocket that they can have during a break at the ski hill. Easy ski day snacks include granola bars, fruit leathers and cheese strings. Please do not send items that can be easily squished (i.e. bananas, yogurt tubes, etc.) or items that require utensils (i.e. pudding)
·         Helmet, skis and boots (if you are not renting)- LABELLED with child’s name and teacher’s name. Since the K`s are not leaving right away in the morning, please do not send your child wearing their ski boots (they will have time to change).
 
*If you have signed up to volunteer for ski day and end up having to cancel, please give us as much notice as possible, as we will need to shuffle kids between the remaining parents.

Thursday: 100th day of school- teachers and students are encouraged to dress up like they are 100 years old!

Friday: Anti-bullying/pink shirt day (everyone is encouraged to wear a pink shirt... if you have any extras, please send them in your child's backpack for others to borrow if they don't have one). We will also be having a pink shirt day/skipping assembly at 10:10 in the gym for those parents interested in joining us.
