A fun-filled Friday!

Everyone was so excited for picture day!

We also had our first music class with Miss Lizzy. She sang fun songs with us and let us move around a lot. We learned about Mrs. Treble and Mr. Bass, and that you can sing stories like There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly. We loved when she played a song on the keyboard and had us guess what the song was! We really look forward to our future music classes! Thanks for coming in, Miss Lizzy!

We have been expressing an interest in experimenting with a variety of art materials, so we took some supplies outside today. Many of the students have become very fond of the tree in the front field (the "learning tree") so many students created pictures of the tree using pastels and water colour paints. The process was absolutely wonderful to observe, and their final creations were evidence of a lot of hard work!
