You're invited to ... a fireman's party!

We had so much fun seeing the firemen and fire truck today at school. Ask us about "get low and go" and what we learned about testing doors and windows at our house. Ask us what we are supposed to put out the window if we are trapped in our bedroom. We also learned about smoke detectors, and ask that you look for your smoke detectors at home. The firemen gave us 2 pieces of paper that will come home today, and one of them tells us that we need a smoke detector in our bedrooms.

You are invited to the fire station for a party! On Thursday, October 8th at 5:30 , the fire hall in Kimberley (not the one close to the school) will be hosting a party with hot dogs, ice cream, chips and pop. The firemen and the fire truck will be there, and they will be sawing a car in half!
