Frolicking in the Fall!

We loved our first of many music classes with Miss Lizzy today! Ask us about the songs we sang and the book we read!

We also loved our Garden Harvest time with Mrs. Keiver! Ask us about all of the treasures we found! We hope you enjoy snacking on the goodies your child brought home today!

We were on a hunt for the 'orangest' tree in Marysville today, and we're sure we found it! We loved exploring in the leaves, finding many 'Canada' leaves!

Fire Station Visit!

We started our fire station field trip with a little detour to the soccer field while we waited for the firemen to arrive. We then had an amazing time visiting the fire station with Firefighter Noah and Firefighter Chuck! We learned about hoses, lights and 'gadgets', and even got to see the inside of a couple trucks. Everyone did a great job listening respectfully, and we really appreciated the help from two wonderful parent volunteers! Ask your child all about it!

Outdoor Explorations

We have been exploring our new surroundings, inside and out! We have enjoyed stick collecting in the front field and playing games in the back field, but we especially enjoy the 'fort area'. If you have some time, ask your child to take you to check out their forts they have been working on with their friends!

Learning Stations

We have been busy working our way through various learning stations during the past couple of weeks. Use these pictures as prompts to ask your child about what they were working on!

First Week of Fun!

During the first week of school, we had so much fun getting to know our new school and classmates! We also met a number of adults who are excited to have us at school. Ask us about Mrs. S (School Counsellor), Mrs. Keiver (Aboriginal Education Support Worker), Mrs. Lunge (Student Services Teacher and Co-Teacher in our room for part of the day), Mrs. Watson (Secretary), Mrs. Wahlstrom (Special Education Assistant) and Mrs. Holmes (Lunchroom Supervisor at this time).
