Kimberley Fire Hall BBQ and Open House-Thursday 5:30

When we visited the fire hall today, the fire fighters invited all of the students to the Kimberley station this Thursday (Oct 10) at 5:30 for a BBQ and Open House. There will be lots of fun activities for kids :)

It's fire prevention week so we took the K's over to the fire hall today. The fire fighters there taught us about smoke alarms and the difference between a toy and a tool. We practised how to stop, drop and roll if our clothing catches on fire and we learned the importance of having a fire safety plan at home. We also got to check out their cool fire truck and saw Fire Fighter Noah go 20 metres in the air on the ladder!
