Our students were so excited to perform at Garden View
Village on Wednesday, February 19. We have never had both groups of kids there
before, but they did a fabulous job! We sang a number of songs (that we are
still working on uploading for all to see somehow!) and all of our senior
friends absolutely loved it! There was lots of clapping and smiling after each
song! All of the kids agreed that seeing our senior friends happy made us feel
happy too!

Once we finished singing, the kids were asked about their favourite thing about going up to Garden View Village and we had some really cute responses! Carson melted hearts by saying that he loves when the senior friends visit around the table with him. Hailey said she just loves seeing all of our senior friends. Fyn said she loves going down to the “restaurant” (the dining area J). Charlie said he loved singing the bumblebee song there, and Kaden agreed that he loved doing the actions for the snowflake song. Many of the kids said that they also really enjoyed the arts and crafts activities we do there.
Sharing Time
Once we had some time to share these responses, we went for a tour of the building to see all of the beautiful heart art the students made for the windows. It was just stunning and lots of the senior friends said that the hearts really brightened the place up!
