Spring has Sprung!

Signs of Spring are popping up all over the place! We have thoroughly enjoyed our fantastic weather while exploring the community for bits of colour and growth!

One of the best places to explore has been our very own garden, and we have enjoyed finding wiggly friends in the soil! We also planted some seeds last week- ask your child about the seeds we planted and the changes we have already witnessed!

We worked our way through a Mystery Book last week, and after reading through the book, we discovered that it was called The Curious Garden by Peter Brown. Reading this book has sparked a LOT of searching for curious gardens, and we have found them all over the place! It was incredible to see everyone connect with the idea that a single person can make a big difference in their community, even when that person is "just" a child. So empowering! Ask your child to retell you the story of Liam and The Curious Garden, and ask them to tell you about the curious gardens we created with our Grade One buddies!

We even saw pictures from the garden that inspired the story, taken during my visit to the High Line in New York City last summer!

It is SO great to be back!
