We have been learning all about shapes and decided to involve our senior friends in our learning today. After having snack, we went downstairs to join our senior friends. Students approached their senior friends in pairs, asking how they were and if they would like to play ‘shape bingo’ with them. Bingo cards and chips were passed out and there were many smiles and laughs while Mrs. Burgess called various shapes and colours. Frieda, Pam, Ali and Lily were the proud winners of today’s game, and there were many requests to play again sometime. After thanking our senior friends for spending their coffee time with us, we went back upstairs and worked through 2 of this week’s learning stations. Many of the students commented on how much they enjoyed playing the game with their friends downstairs. The time flew by, and before we knew it, it was time to go back to the school!
