I hope everyone has had a restful, enjoyable winter break! I am really looking forward to seeing everyone again on Monday.
I was really overjoyed with how beautiful this art project turned out, and was excited to post a picture of everyone's completed piece. The poem came from a story that Mrs. Keiver read to us, and the leaves were collected on a walk early in October. We soaked them in glycerine and then dried them for 6 weeks before painting on them with acrylic paint.
Just another reminder, we will start swimming on Tuesday, so please send your child with their bathing suit and towel, and easy clothes for changing.
