Celebrating 100s Day and Valentine's!

This week, we spent a lot of time gearing up for our 100s day celebration. We used unified cubes to find different ways to make 100, and measured ourselves against the linked stack to see how many blocks long we each were. We also took up making "100" wherever we went!

We also spent time this week thinking about what we might look like when we are 100, and what we would like to do by the time we are 100. Students came up with goals that really reflect their interests and values! You can click on any of the children's individual portraits to take a better look at what they wrote.

We had a great time celebrating 100s Day/Red Day, with buddy group stations in each classroom in the morning, and Jump Rope for Heart in the afternoon! We also had our Valentine exchange in the afternoon, and enjoyed some yummy treats!
