Swinging from September and into October!

We had such a fun adventure walking to the River Lookout last week. We were amazed at how far below us the river was, and are excited to take the trail to the bottom in the spring!

We have also been on the hunt for the "Most ___" trees, and our hunt last week took us to the Most Red Tree in Marysville. We loved the leaves falling from this tree!

We loved our second lesson with Miss Lizzy, where she taught us about Mrs. Treble and Mr. Bass. We also loved figuring out what type of sound a variety of farm animals might make. Ask your child to tell you about the sounds that Mrs. Treble and Mr. Bass make!

We had our very first Mystery Reader! We were given clues to help us figure out who might be waiting for us behind the door, and Zoe was very excited to find her mom waiting there! She read us a great rhyming story, complete with amazing voices! Ask your child to tell you about the story, and let me know if you are interested in joining us as a Mystery Reader!

We are really getting the hang of our morning routine! Ask your child what they need to remember to do each morning with their water bottle, library books/notes/forms in their backpack, and their rock.  Also, ask your child about their favourite morning stations, and who they like to work with there.

We revisited the Most Orange Tree in Marysville today, and were absolutely amazed to see how many leaves had fallen off the tree in the last week! This tree is an absolute favourite destination for our class at the moment. We had so much fun collecting various sizes and colours of leaves, and enjoyed using our imagination on our Leaf Train. Of course, we couldn't resist creating a leaf pile to jump in too!
